What is train/rail advertising? The definition of train/rail advertising is advertising displays placed on the interior and exterior of trains and inside train stations and on train platforms.

Blue Line Media is a train advertising company for rail advertising and light rail advertising. Falling in the transit advertisements category, train advertising is generally available in a few forms: train interior car card ads (inside train ads); train exterior ads (such as partial and full wraps) and train station-platform ads.

The interior ad options include "brand" options wherein the advertiser partially or fully covers the interior of the train car with ads.

The exterior ad options include ordinary side displays, such as Kings; partial wraps such as Ultra Super Kings or half or full wraps.

Light rail advertising is advertising on trains that run above ground.

The rail advertising posters are generally located on the inside of trains. The rail advertising signs and billboards are also located on the platforms at exits, entrances and waiting areas of train lines. The train advertising boards and cards are used to reach commuters waiting for trains or those sitting or standing inside trains.

Ads are also available on Amtrak’s trains and in its Acela Club Lounges in the Northeast Corridor. Lines include the Acela Express, Northeast Regional, Keystone and Empire lines, as well as in-station posters at the following stations (including Acela Club Lounges).

  • Washington Union Station
