People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has rolled out billboard ads, taxi ads, bus shelter ads and gas station ads to promote its anti-animal-experimentation message. The ads show actual animals suffering in labs of universities and colleges. The advertisements are mostly placed around colleges with labs that have animal experimentation. The targeted college cities include Seattle, Los Angeles, Durham and Cambridge.
